And then another week just passed

I can hardly believe it but another week has just passed and it's time for another episode of Thursday Madness with Erich and yours truely.

Since we just passed Halloween, this week we'll tackle the Helldimensions (Again) for your viewing pleasure. We might even toss in a few extras if we got the feeling and don't get to tired.

Hell in The Secret World is an extreamly hostile, but still interesting place. According to the lore inside the game Hell was the dimension were the fabled second age took place. And the second age is the age that you can't hardly get any information about in the game.
Hell were once the place of a great civilisation that has now fallen to ruin. You can still see the traces of it in the three helldimensions that you can enter from The Overlook motel in The Savage Cost, in Transylvania and in Egypt. The reason hell looks like it does is because it's starved of anima, the Life force, and this starvation turned it's inhabitants into demons.

Home sweet home - and a crasched PC...

My PC descided that enough was enough and just shut down during a windows update. And, of cause, the entire thing just crasched next time I tried to boot it up.

So, one reset later and I'm back to zero again. All my games, all my save files was lost. And since I have a mobile connection to the internet I can't download everything at once. That means that I have to change my plans for the month of October and find some new games to play.

My first part of the Halloween-specials will be a first look at Home Sweet Home - the demo. The game has been out since september last year, but the demo is still available for free on steam. I'll put a link here if you like to try it out for yourself. The game is quite unique in that it's made by a Thai Indie-studio and based on Thai myths and legends.

Even though the game has a unique premise, it still feels a bit like PT, with long, winding corridors and doors and a ghost that will chase you if she finds you. All in all, a quite scary game this far even though I'm quite sure that the re-play value is fairly low. I still like it, and I will make a few more videos about the game later on. So, here you go. Wednesday gaming with Erich

So... Life happened, and there won't be any livestreams this week, or the next week, or the week after that. To be perfectly clear: we really don't know when we will get back to our regular schedule. Hopefully sometime in October but right now we just don't know.

But there will be something up for each thursday anyway, and today we've been recording about 90 minutes worth of gameplay that will be split up between tomorrow and next week. The part that will be up tomorrow will be about The Darkness War in the Secret World Legends. And next week we will take on the Carpathian Fangs and do a few of the ordinary quests.

So join us on Erichs channel tomorrow for some discussion about crowded sleepingbags, the view of hell in different religions, and a bit of Cthulhu mytos. I'll put up a link as soon as one is awailable.

Lorethrough of Homesick

Ever played Homesick? Did you have the patiens to translate all the notes, books and newspapers? If not, then you have your chanse now. I am doing a lorethrough of Homesick, talking about how we might be playing as, as well as reading all the notes and other stuff scattered around the apartment complex.

I will also give  a full playthrough in case anyone got stuck somewhere, not knowing what to do.
Homesick is a quite easy game with pussles that are not to hard, but there are some places where it's not selfexplanatory and where some people might get stuck.

Ever played Homesick?

If you havn't then you've missed out. This is one of the most beautiful and haunting games out there. Created by the small indie-studio Lucky Pause in Santa Monica, CA and with it's release in may 2015, it's just an incredible experience covered in secrets.
(And NO I won't watch any lets plays before I've finished this game myself.)

There are no explanations, no backstory, no nothing. All you know at the beginning is that you've been in that place forever and that the sun is so bright it burns you Eyes. And that's it! The rest is up to you.

I'll be playing Homesick as a part of my Oktober specials, so just keep you eye out for more videos of this amazing game...Or just...you know...Buy it and play it yourself.

I got an early birthday present. The game Hot Lava, from Klei Entertainment, were droped into my inbox on Steam. And is it fun or what?! 

 Klei Entertainment are the indie developer behind games like Don't Starve, Don't Starve Together and Oxygen not included and are pretty much known for their strange games. Hot lava is a new take on gaming. Here speed is everyting. More speed, longer jumps. It's hilarious, it's fast, it's frustrating and just plain fun! 

Bevare those of you that suffers from motion sickness. After about 20 minutes of falling, running and jumping I started to feel a bit quesy… But other than that… Just enjoy!

The climb continues...

We're continuing our climb of The Black Tower, all the way to the penthouse and the final showdown with Lilith herself.

In part 2 you'll find the rest of the companies, from Sycoil up until Anasi. Find out what the Orochi Group really been up to. 

And then we have the final part, The Boardroom and The Penthouse. The last parts of our climb up the Tower, and the last part of the old The Secret World. 

What you can expect: Snarky comments, discussions about Abrahamic lore, University studies, Scientology, Duckrape (?!!) and "Could anyone call themselves God if they put on a hat that's funny enough?"

BONUS: A sneak peak of the new expansion "New Dawn".

Battle for Azeroth

Alright! I admit it! I’m totally hopeless. 

After spending months saying that I would not get back into World of Warcraft again…What did I do? Went online and bought the Battle for Azeroth of cause!

I will try it out and give my first impression of the expansion on my Youtube-channel later today or tomorrow. I’ll leave a link to the video as soon as it goes live.

Back from the dead

And... when you thought it was all over. 

 I’m back at it again! After the longest hiatus in history my blog is back up and running. Join me, a slightly old, slightly snarky and constantly annoyed woman, as I make my way through a variety of games. From MMORPG to one player games, both from AAA-studios as well as Indie developers.

(Even though I do prefer Indie games for some reason…)

What can you expect?
